Recreational gymnastics at Unigym Gatineau includes gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling and parkour! This sector of activity is aimed at anyone aged 18 months and over who practices a gymnastic sport recreationally. Whether for pure enjoyment or as an introduction to competition, participants can explore a variety of classes focusing on gymnastic movements.

Please note that there are no classes for the Cantley area for the summer session. Classes will be available in the fall.
Aylmer
Pre-requisite beginner 3-5 years old ** must have attended at least one session of the ladybugs or grasshoppers course.
Gatineau

Hull
Prerequisite: The child must have completed at least one session in the Mini-Elite Beginner.
This class is for children who really enjoy gymnastics and show special skills. They will have the opportunity to do more than in the Ladybugs and Grasshoppers class. Basic gymnastic movements are still practiced and refined. The emphasis is on perfecting and improving physical skills.
Aylmer
Prerequisite: The child must have completed at least one session in the Mini-Elite Beginner.
This class is for children who really enjoy gymnastics and show special skills. They will have the opportunity to do more than in the Ladybugs and Grasshoppers class. Basic gymnastic movements are still practiced and refined. The emphasis is on perfecting and improving physical skills.

Parkour is approached as the art of movement. This discipline consists in successively crossing various obstacles, by agile and fast movements, with or without acrobatic figures. Power, speed, flexibility, explosiveness, balance, muscular endurance... based on the body awareness of the practitioners.
This course consists of an introduction in order to acquire basic notions of security.
Hull
Parkour is approached as the art of movement. This discipline consists in successively crossing various obstacles, by agile and fast movements, with or without acrobatic figures. This trampoline class is for children who want to jump and learn trampoline moves. Children will be physically active, develop their coordination, concentration and self-esteem. While playing and following instructions, children will learn the vocabulary and movements of the sport.
